The walk leads from the Mittlere Brücke on the Rhine to Münsterplatz with Basel Minster, and from there to the town hall. From the Marktplatz, it continues through the winding medieval alleys via Andreasplatz to Nadelberg, over Heuberg to Gemsberg.
